The Bauer X-LP Skates were designed for players looking for their first pair of real hockey skates. Compared to other entry-level Bauer skates like the X-LS and the Volt, the X-LP boasts an upgraded pro-inspired tongue that comes with extra padding needed to protect the top of the foot from gameplay impacts. Internally, the microfiber liner is even more comfortable and even better and wicking away moisture too. The exterior is filled with improvements too including the more durable tendon guard and LS Pro II holder.
